Seddons have published a survey on contentious probate, which is commonly held to be on the increase and with some estimates suggesting that disputes, for whatever reason, now run to over 50,000 a year.  The survey results are additionally broken down by gender.

Elsewhere, the Law Society has published a new practice note on disputed wills.
