Remittance basis changes

When it comes to the quality of laws and their making, the pain threshold has been raised so high by the current government that the average professional adviser is, these days, minded to look at those gentlemen from the sub-continent who lie on beds of nails and dismiss them as a bunch of soft sissies.

Even so, it is hard not to look at the revised remittance basis code without then heading straight to the pub. The latest amendments to laws, which are still only proposals and have not even so much as yet found their way onto the statute book, were announced yesterday.
