ODF 2 - this time it's personal

The BBC reports that, from Monday, HM Revenue & Customs will be offering a second chance to recalcitrant taxpayers to come clean over undisclosed liabilities attaching to offshore bank accounts.

If the report is correct, the Revenue will be writing directly to identified offshore bank account holders rather than offering a facility to the public at large. The penalty weighting in a settlement will be 30%, rather than the 10% offered under last year's Offshore Disclosure Facility.

At the time of writing, there is no official announcement on the Revenue website.
