Budget - residency

The pre-Budget report proposal, to include a day of presence in the UK as a day counting towards residency, has been changed to days only where the individual is present at midnight. Passengers in the UK at midnight whilst in transit will be exempted, provided that, whilst in the UK, they do not engage in an activity which is substantially unrelated to their passage.
