What a waste

An ICM/Guardian poll has found that 65% of voters, including the majority of Labour supporters, do not think the government makes good use of tax money.

Is it merely coincidence that the modern political narrative is driven solely by the who pays how much agenda, and is devoid of any examination of what happens to the tax once it is collected ?

With tax is at its highest for more than a decade, and the government not exactly flush with the readies, where does it all go and what effect does the lack of accountability have on the willingness of people to evade the payment of tax ?
