Advisory fuel rates
2 January 2008 in VAT The Revenue has published revised advisory fuel rates for use from 1 January.
The rates can be used for reimbursement by employees to their employers for employer provided fuel used for private travel, or where employers pay employees for business travel in company cars. If different, the actual cost of the fuel can be used.
